Unusual ice formation seen in Ilulissat Icefjord

The largest iceberg ever recorded in the northern hemisphere broke off the Petermann Glacier in northwestern Greenland in 2010. It measured 260 square kilometers (100 square miles), about three times the area of Copenhagen, Denmark.
