When visiting local markets in Uzbekistan it is hard to resist freshly cooked local food. Shahlyk (the meat skewers on the bottom of the photo) is traditionally eaten with freshly chopped onions drizzled with vinegar and flat bread. It is popular all over Central Asia and Russia.
