Nowadays, this mine is one huge museum exhibit. On one of the cold November afternoons in 1996 the miners were told to take their belongings and leave the mine. The doors were closed and all the equipment, clothing and even half-finished coffee cups were left to accumulate layers of dust for the next 20 years.
