You probably know me as a photographer who takes lots of pictures in the Arctic region. That being true, I am actually, not very fond of cold. Growing up in the south of Kazakhstan I got used to pretty high temperatures during summer months. I feel most comfortable when it is between 25C and 30C.
South Kazakhstan has long hot summers with temperatures as high as 50C (122F). The area gets 100-200mm of rain per year, which means that the air is usually very dry and dusty.
