GREENLAND_Disko_Island_Qeqertarsuaq_colorful_houses_with_Icebergs_by_Maria_Sahai.jpg
In case you ever wondered why greenlandic houses are so colorful, the reason is very practical. Back in the day, colors indicated functions of buildings: healthcare facilities were yellow, police stations were black, fish factories were blue, etc.
Nowadays, you can see all colors of the rainbow in greenlandic architecture, though government building still follow the old color system.
