Inside an ancient qanat in Dash-e-Loot desert (Lut Desert) in Kerman Province

Qanat is an underground channel that helps to transport water. Much of the population of Iran and other countries in Asia and North Africa historically depended upon the water from qanats. This particular qanat is not used by the locals anymore. We found it on the outskirts of Dash-e-Loot desert in Kerman province.
